Set the disk size, the virtual machine will automatically recommend a capacity based on the system you choose to install. This can be adjusted according to your needs. However, for Windows or ubuntu, it is recommended not to be less than a minimum of 30GB. Then it is the file storage mode of the virtual machine. Xiao Bian recommends selecting “store the virtual disk as a single file”.

At this step, the virtual machine lists the current settings so that the user can understand the current virtual machine configuration. Note that you do not need to click "Finish" here, but click "Customize Hardware" to further set the system hardware resources.

The most important part is the memory portion. Windows 7 or more cannot allocate less than 2 GB of memory at most. It is better to configure 4 GB (Note: The computer memory using the virtual machine is not less than 8 GB of memory capacity). The CPU can be set according to its own requirements.
